About Me:

Hi I’m RJ Hall, a professional project manager. I’m a bit of a nerd who loves to read, game, and learn things that I find challenging and rewarding. In the past I have dabbled in languages like Python, Java, and SQL. I’ve ran VM’s and played in Hack the Box (HTB) on old boxes. But recently I have found myself obsessed with blue team operations. With a background in the military, and policing, there’s a desire I guess to seek out and capture the bad actors in this world.

So what a better opportunity than working towards a SOC Analyst path, combining my nerdiness, and commitment to learning challenging material.

With experience in HTB I returned and discovered their Academy section. Having friends who currently work in the industry, I always loved their roles as analysts and found a deep calling and interest to it. So I loaded up the SOC Analyst Path and began my odyssey.

With full determination and a thirst for knowledge I’m fully committed to finishing HTB and getting my CDSA certification. I’ll be documenting my experience and learnings here as I go. I hope you find something useful if you are here possibly searching for help on modules much like I did!
